The project was organized to focus the resources of the University, the State, and the County of Hawaii on the identification, generation, and utilization of geothermal energy on the Big Island of Hawaii. Scientific investigations were grouped into three programs: (1) Geophysical; (2) Engineering; and (3) Environmental-Socioeconomic. This first progress report includes information on budget distribution by program and task.
