This report is a user's guide to the bibliographic data base that resulted from the technology assessment of current and advanced logging techniques sponsored by the Bureau of Mines. After compilation, the bibliography was converted to an automated form for ease of utilization, and to allow for maintaining and updating the data base. The data base covers articles, symposia, books, patents, corporate and government reports, and other literature concerned with some aspect of borehole logging from January 1969 through December 1975. Periodic updating is anticipated to keep the data base contents in step with developments in the rapidly advancing field of application of borehole logging to mining.
