The anomalous polarization phenomenon observed in Argonne in the reaction ..pi../sup -/p..--> omega..n at 6 GeV/c is attributed to a Regge ..pi..A/sub 2/ cut. The appearance of a dip in rho/sub 00/dsigma/dt at tapprox. =0 and a stronger manifestation of the rho/sup 0/-..omega.. interference in rho/sub 00/dsigma/dt are predicted for the reactions ..pi../sup +/N ..--> omega..N with increasing energy.
