Statement of work for waste vitrification systems risk assessment engineering and analysis support

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:721057
The objective of this contract is for the Contractor to provide technical expertise supporting several assessments of risks and uncertainties associated with various elements of the Hanford Waste Vitrification Program (Program). Analyses will also be performed to evaluate the uncertainties associated with the program to quantify potential consequences and programmatic risks if construction of the Hanford Waste Vitrification Plant (HWVP) proceeds on the current schedule (July 1991). Significant technical, and regulatory (safety and environmental), and programmatic (cost and schedule) uncertainties will be assessed. The risks will address the probability of successfully completing the Program mission, including production performance, cost, and schedule implications. These tasks will be documented in a Programmatic Risk Assessment Report. 2 refs., 1 fig., 1 tab.
