Westinghouse Hanford Company long-range plan

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:721045

This document graphically summarizes major WHC programs and activities planned through the year 2000 and beyond. These program plans are being carried out by WHC for the US Department of Energy and reflect major milestones and principle interactions between program elements. This summary provides a basic framework for understanding the nature and magnitude of Hanford ongoing operations as well as a long range planning tool for senior management. This plan does not officially set, change, or transmit WHC commitments to DOE-RL. The objectives and milestones projected herein are taken from actual program plans today and are based on the assumption of adequate funding throughout the life of each program. In addition, many other factors such as changes in safety and environmental concerns, technology, and politics can cause significant alterations in both objectives and commitment dates. Each program itself follows its own established reporting structure for setting, changing and transmitting company objectives and milestones. Additions and/or updates to keep this plan current will be accomplished on an as needed basis. 2 refs.
