This patent describes a method of operating a gas engine and supplying explosive mixed gas by passing air through a chamber containing a body of ignited fuel and drawing from said chamber a volume of producer gas. The process then involves cleaning said gas and storing it in a holder, forming a volume of water gas by passing steam through said body of fuel and storing it separately from said producer gas. The process culminates by commingling in a gas holder predetermined quantities of each of said gases and withdrawing volumes of the mixture and delivering them directly to a gas engine and exploding them therein, substantially as described.
