The features of three code systems that produce multigroup neutron data are contrasted. This includes the ETOE-2/MC/sup 2/-2/SDX, MINX/SPHINX and AMPX code packages. These systems all contain a fairly extensive set of processing capabilities with the current evaluated nuclear data files--ENDF/B. They were designed with different goals and applications in mind. This paper discusses some of their differences and the implications for particular situations. (auth)
