N Reactor Standby Program summary plan

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:719312
The N Reactor Standby Program is the Westinghouse Hanford Company (WHC) program to prepare the N Reactor for cold standby in a cost effective and quality manner with a primary emphasis on safety. The Standby Program Summary Plan has been developed to outline the program plans, baselines, and controls to be employed in the management of the Standby Program. This plan also defines the roles and responsibilities of the major program participants. The major elements of the program to place the reactor, fuel fabrication, and support facilities in secured, cold standby status are to be achieved by the end of FY 1989. Some elements of the program, including the fuel storage basic activities, will extend beyond this period. This plan will be reviewed periodically and necessary revisions will be made as agreed to by the major program participants. Other revisions may be necessary to assure consistency with other program documents. 4 refs., 9 figs.
