Extraction capacity of vinylenediphosphoric compounds

The extraction of uranyl nitrate by dioxides of tetratolylvinylenediphosphine (cis- and trans-isomers), the dioxide of tetraphenylfinylenediphosphine (cis-isomer), the dioxide of tetraphenylethylenediphosphine, the disulfide of tetraphenylvinylenediphosphine (cis-isomer), and tetraphenylvinylenediphosphine (cis-isomer) was investigated. The most effective was the dioxide of cis-tetratolylvinylenediphosphine, which possesses not only high extraction capacity, but also satisfactory solubility in solvents.
