Magnetic rotational hysteresis energy in rapidly solidified Nd-Fe-B magnets

The mechanism or magnetization reversal processes in rapidly solidified Nd[sub 16]Fe[sub 76]B[sub 7]Nb ribbons has been investigated on the basis of the analysis of the rotational hysteresis energy calculated from the magnetic torque curves. It is shown that the ribbons reverse preferably by means of incoherent rotation process.
