Recently proposed rare decays {ital Z}{prime}{r arrow}{ital f}{sub 1}{ital {bar f}2}{ital V} (with {ital V}={ital W} or {ital Z} and {ital f}{sub 1,2} ordinary fermions) and the forward-backward asymmetry are found to be sensitive diagnostic tests for the gauge coupling ratio {ital g}{sub {ital R}}/{ital g}{sub {ital L}} in left-right symmetric models (SU{sub 2{ital L}}{times}SU{sub 2{ital R}}{times}U{sub 1({ital B}{minus}{ital L})}). At projected luminosities of the CERN Large Hadron Collider and the Superconducting Super Collider, {ital g}{sub {ital R}}/{ital g}{sub {ital L}} can be determined statistically to {similar to}1% for {ital M}{sub {ital Z}{prime}}{congruent}1 TeV. The absence of related decays {ital W}{prime}{sup {plus minus}}{r arrow}{ital f}{sub 1}{ital {bar f}2}{ital W}{sup {plus minus}} would be a clean signature that {ital W}{prime} couples to right-handed currents. Once {ital g}{sub {ital R}}/{ital g}{sub {ital L}} is determined, the ratio {ital M}{sub {ital Z}{prime}}/{ital M}{sub {ital W}{prime}} and the decays {ital Z}{prime}{r arrow}{ital W}{sup +}{ital W{minus}} ({ital W}{prime}{sup {plus minus}}{r arrow}{ital W}{sup {plus minus}}{ital Z}) provide probes for the symmetry breaking sector.
