New formulation of pion-nucleon scattering and soft-pion theorems in the Skyrme model

We present a new formulation of pion-nucleon scattering and the soft-pion theorems in the Skyrme model, where the reduction formula of the [ital S] matrix and the currents are described in terms of the original canonical fields, which are not yet transformed into the Skyrmion and fluctuation fields in the one-Skyrmion sector. Not referring to any constraints and gauge-fixing conditions imposed on fluctuation fields and collective coordinates, we can easily obtain the Born terms with both of the rotational and translational modes and the soft-pion theorems.
