The Fuel Use Act Repeal Bill of 1986 eliminates certain restrictions on the use of natural gas and petroleum contained in the 1978 Powerplant and Industrial Fuel Use Act. The amendments include striking the phrase or major fuel-burning installation where it appears and replacing the phrase from new and existing electric powerplants and major fuel-burning installations with from existing electric power plants.
