It is suggested that the measurements of hadronic invariant mass ([ital m][sub [ital X]]) distributions in the inclusive [ital B][r arrow][ital X][sub [ital c]([ital u])][ital l][nu] decays can be useful in extracting the CKM matrix element [vert bar][ital V][sub [ital u][ital b]][vert bar]. We investigated hadronic invariant mass distributions within the various theoretical models of HQET, FAC, and the chiral Lagrangian as well as the ACCMM model. It is also emphasized that the [ital m][sub [ital X]] distributions even at the region [ital m][sub [ital X]][gt][ital m][sub [ital D]] in the inclusive [ital b][r arrow][ital u] are effective in selecting the events, experimentally viable at the future asymmetric [ital B] factories, with better theoretical understanding.
