Output characteristics and resonance parameters of He-Ne//sup 127/I/sub 2/ laser

The results of studies of the He-Ne//sup 127/I/sub 2/ laser are described. The resonant peak parameters and the frequency instability are discussed. In order to increase the resonance peak amplitude in the He-Ne//sup 127/I/sub 2/ laser, heating of iodine vapors was used. The studies show that the He-Ne//sup 127/I/sub 2/ lasers with a heated cell have high values of stability and emission frequency reproduction.
