The ORNL slow positron facility and quadratic-potential time-of-flight mass spectrometer

This paper presents the production and characterization of the slow positrons (0.5--100 eV) produced at the Oak Ridge Electron Linear Accelerator and discusses the advantages and characteristics of the quadratic-potential time-of-flight mass spectrometer used in studies of the ionization of large organic molecules.
