Rotation of a magnetorheologic suspension in a constant magnetic field. I. Equation of motion and boundary conditions at the free surface

The authors construct equations of motion and determine boundary conditions for a flow model depicting vortex flow in a magnetic suspension under the effect of an external rotating magnetic field. The model incorporates the creation of an internal rheological torque in the liquid by accounting for macroscopic flow stress and shear behavior as well as microscopic particle dynamics.
