The inclusive differential Drell-Yan cross section is measured from the analysis of [bar p]p [yields] [gamma] [yields] [mu][sup +][mu][sup [minus]]X events at a center-of-mass energy of [radical]s = 1.8 TeV at the Fermilab Tevatron collider. The dimuon events are accepted in the central pseudorapidity region of [minus]0.6 < [eta] < 0.6 of the CDF detector. The differential cross section d[sigma]/dMdY[vert bar][sub Y=0] is measured for dimuon invariant masses between 11 GeV/c[sup 2] and 40 GeV/c[sup 2] and is compared to next-to-leading order theoretical predictions. The [sigma](Z[sup 0] [yields] [mu][sup +][mu][sup [minus]]) cross section is also measured.
