Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov calculations with T = 1 plus T = 0 pairing correlations

Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov calculations have been performed for even-even N not-equal Z isotopes using the Kuo-Brown reaction matrix elements for the Hamada-Johnston potential. The possibility of generalized pairing is explored by considering T = 1, T = 0 and T = 1 plus T = 0 correlations for the axial and triaxial shapes. It is found that only for the nuclei with N - Z = 2 there is a small contribution by the T = 0 pairing correlations. Only the absolute value T/subz/ = 1 pairing correlations are important for the ground-state solutions. (AIP)
