IUCALC: a FORTRAN subroutine for calculating polygon-line intersections, and polygon--polygon intersections, unions, and relative differences. [For IBM 360]
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:7150482
The IBM 360 FORTRAN Subroutine IUCALC may be used to calculate polygon--chain (of line segments) intersections and polygon--polygon intersections, unions, and relative differences. The subroutine is used in computer-assisted geographical analysis involving areal quantities defined in terms of polygons. The subroutine is also used in producing choropleth (shaded) displays of polygon or gridded data. 3 figures.
