This paper reports on 1 of this two-part series overviewed downhole through-flowline (TFL) equipment used with an eccentric Y-block configuration to allow circulation through dual 3 1/2-in. Tubing strings. The subsea completions are in wells located on Saga Petroleum's Subsea Production System template, 6,500 m (21,320 ft) from the Snorre field TLP. This concluding presentation describes the systems control center based on the TLP, from which the remote TFL operations will be conducted. How the system was tested and commissioned before installation is discussed. And basic concepts of Saga's plans for a TFL-operated production logging system are illustrated.
