It is well known that Texas is the Nation's leading state in developing and sharing its oil and gas resources, and in this report it is pointed out that the State has other large energy resources that are less widely known. These include lignite, coal, geothermal energy and uranium ores. Texas also has the potential for solar, solid waste and wind energy. (GRA)
