Heater drains and condensate returns subsystem design description: 4 x 350 MW(t) Modular HTGR [High-Temperature Gas-Cooled Reactor] Plant
The Heater Drains and Condensate Returns system is a subsystem within the Power Conversion Group (PCG). The Heater Drains system removes condensed extraction steam from the shell side of the low pressure heaters in accordance with the established thermal cycle. The Condensate Returns system collects condensate from the auxiliary steam system, and returns the drains to the condensate system.
