Anti p-p charge exchange scattering below 1. 1 GeV/c. [Experiment improvement and extension]

A precision counter measurement of the energy dependence of the total cross section for the reaction anti pp ..-->.. anti nn was recently performed. No significant structure was found in the region of the S(1935) meson where substantial bumps are seen in the total and elastic cross sections. Ways in which this experiment might be improved and extended are considered. (JFP)
