Naturally light Majorana neutrinos with no neutrinoless double-. beta. decay

It is argued that neutrinoless double-{beta} decay (({beta}{beta}){sub 0{nu}}) does not depend on the physical Dirac or Majorana mass of the electron neutrino. A new scenario is proposed where the physical neutrino can naturally be a light Majorana particle, without any ({beta}{beta}){sub 0{nu}}. Supersymmetric grand unified theories are constructed incorporating this scenario.
