We have studied particle emission following {pi}{sup +} absorption on {sup 6}Li at {ital T}{sub {pi}}=150 MeV by using a large-solid-angle detector. We find an absorption cross section leading to two or more energetic protons in the final state to be 98{plus minus}15 mb. We find that only about 65 mb can be explained as quasideuteron absorption.
