Transfer RNA molecules are of central importance in the transfer of genetic information from DNA to the proteins. During protein synthesis, tRNA interacts with great specificity with other components of the protein synthesizing system. The structure and codon-anticodon complex of yeast phenylanine tRNA are described in detail.
