The U.S. Materials Transportation Bureau issues miscellaneous changes to its corrosion control requirements for natural gas and other gas pipelines. The amendments update and clarify several of the existing regulations and modify others to provide flexibility in conducting the required periodic operational and maintenance inspections. These amendments are effective as of 9/5/78.
