A comprehensive, project-oriented plan has been developed to best meet the national objectives in geothermal research to be performed during the next ten years. Necessary projects and tasks are defined under each of the subprograms such that each geothermal resource can become economically viable within a ten-year period. Recommended five-year budgets are selected on the basis of the allocations model.
