Crude supply alternatives for the northern tier states. Volume II. Technical report

Feasibility, cost, and potential impacts of various alternate crude oil supply sources and transportation systems for the Northern Tier area are discussed. Of particular importance are the environmental and socio-economic impacts, as well as political and legal considerations. Because of the projected surplus of Alaskan North Slope crude and in view of its potential as a secure source, economic and price implications are examined. (GRA)
