Some decays of charm mesons

The author presents limits on the branching ratio of D[sup 0] [yields] K[sup +]K[sup [minus]][pi][sup +][pi][sup [minus]], including its resonant subcomponents, and also a lower limit on the branching ratio of D[sub s][sup +] [yields] [phi][pi][sup +], as determined from a search for D[sub s][sup +] [yields] [phi]e[sup +][nu][sub e], using data from the charm photoproduction experiment E691. The experiment was conducted at the Fermilab Tagged Phonon Laboratory, and employed a large acceptance spectrometer with a silicon microvertex detector to extract a large, clean charm sample.
