This series is an account, based on his journals, of the visits of G. T. Seaborg, Chairman of the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission from 1961 to 1971, to some 60 countries. This volume includes an introduction and chapters on Euratom, France, India, Pakistan, Canada, Germany, Italy, and Benelux countries, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Japan, and Puerto Rico. The ''New World'' refers to the world of nuclear energy. Explanatory narrative material is included with the journal entries. (RWR)
