Proto II is presently the lowest total output impedance (approximately /sup 1///sub 8/ ..cap omega..) and highest total current (approximately 6 MA) with the fastest risetime and shortest pulse length of any contemporary accelerator being tested or under construction. This report gives discussions on the following topics: (1) Marx generators, (2) water energy storage capacitors, (3) SF/sub 6/ trigatron switch, (4) water-insulated lines, (5) diode, and (6) pulsed power flow.
