Errors in a conjecture (Isenberg, J. Comput. Phys., 12, 417-23(1973)) about the nature of the asymptotic expansion for the error functional relating to multidimensional quadrature when the integrand function is singular at a point are pointed out. This letter is of interest only to those workers familiar with the error-containing note. (RWR)
