We are presenting results of the amplitude analysis of the K/sup 0//sub S/K/sup 0//sub S/ system produced in the reaction ..pi../sup -/p..-->..K/sup 0//sub S/K/sup 0//sub S/n at the incident ..pi../sup -/ meson momentum 40 GeV/c. The behavior of the D/sub 0/ wave in the effective-mass region M/sub K//sub <0/K/sup =/<1.6 GeV is satisfactorily described by a superposion of f and f' mesons. We obtained an indication of the existence of an additional relatively narrow (GAMMA--50 MeV) 2/sup + +/ state with the mass 1.322 +- 0.007 GeV; however, the statistics is not sufficient: its production cross section is 2.9 +- 1.6 nb. The data confirm the splitting in the S-wave of the broad Epsilon(1300) resonance into a pair of narrower peaks in the 0/sup + +/ state with masses 1.26 and 1.42 GeV as was observed previously (A. Etkin et al., Phys. Rev. D 25, 1786 (1982); A. Etkin et al., Phys. Rev. D 25, 2446 (1982)).
