/sup 37/Ar as a calibration source for solar neutrino detectors

I discuss the possibility that a high-intensity 811-keV /sup 37/Ar neutrino source, produced by neutron capture on separated /sup 36/Ar, could be used to calibrate the /sup 7/Be solar neutrino capture cross sections of /sup 71/Ga, /sup 127/I, and other detectors.
