Superconductive alloys

Patent ·
OSTI ID:7099192
The disclosed superconductive alloys comprise essentially, by atomic percent, from 20 to 80 percent of titanium, from 1 to 80 percent tantalum and from 2 to 80 percent of niobium. They are excellent in workability and have the magnetic field-to-critical supercurrent density characteristics substantially identical to the supercurrents-to-critical magnetic field characteristics. In addition they do not exhibit the training effect and have a relatively high critical temperature.
