Quality assurance program description for the design, construction, and operation of TVA nuclear power plants

This topical report presents the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) Quality Assurance Program developed for the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of TVA nuclear plants. When referenced in an SAR, the report is intended to be used for sections 17.0, 17.1A, and 17.2 of TVA's Safety Analysis Reports, Chapter 17, ''Quality Assurance,'' in accordance with the NRC's Standard Format and Content of Safety Analysis Reports for Nuclear Power Plants-LWR Edition, Rev. 2 (September 1975). TVA's QA Program meets the requirements of 10 CFR 50, Appendix B. This topical report is intended to be a comprehensive description of the program and will be amended as necessary to keep it up to date.
