New Mexico passive solar home temperature survey: Final report

This report presents the results of indoor temperature and energy consumption monitoring of thirty passive solar homes in New Mexico. Many different design styles are included in most of the various climate zones of New Mexico. In addition to the presentation of recorded or collected data, computer simulations were performed on each building. The computer simulations allow one to make additional comparisons between the different buildings. The results of the program confirm that passive solar homes are comfortable structures with low auxiliary energy requirements.
