The fifty papers presented are compiled. The topics discussed included the physico-chemical properties of simple and complex compounds of transuranium elements, redox reactions of transuranium elements, separation of the transuranium elements, and problems of transuranium elements in the light of Mendeleev's Periodic Law. An Introduction reviews the early investigations leading to the discovery of the transuranium elements and the contributions of leading Soviet scientists in this field are summarized. Individual papers will be included separately. (JSR)
