Cut Reggeon field theory in the triple-Regge region

Journal Article · · Phys. Rev., D; (United States)
Reggeon-field-theory rules for the inclusive cross section in the triple-Regge region are given in terms of the cut-Pomeron formalism. A functional-integral representation is constructed and used to obtain the classical approximation, i.e., the sum of all graphs without Pomeron loops. In the limit of zero Pomeron slope, this is shown to give a cross section which vanishes asymptotically so that the inclusive sum rule is not violated. Possible applications to the analysis of experimental data are discussed.
