The San Diego Gas and Electric Company filed an Early Site Review Report with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission for the proposed Sundesert Site. The proposed site is located in Riverside County, State of California, approximately sixteen miles southwest of the town of Blythe, California. The original report, issued in February 1977 summarises the results of technical evaluation of the suitability of the proposed site for a nuclear power plant and delineates the scope of the technical matters considered in evaluating the suitability of the site. This report, Supplement No. 1, appends the Report by the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards and addresses the comments made by the Committee regarding its review of the Sundesert Site.
