Methodology for qualifying Westinghouse PWR-SD supplied NSSS safety related electrical equipment

The purpose of the report is to describe the methodology that Westinghouse PWRSD has adopted to qualify safety-related electrical equipment to IEEE-323-1974, ''IEEE Standard for Qualifying Class 1E Equipment for Nuclear Power Generating Stations.'' This methodology represents the Westinghouse interpretation of this standard and will be applied in the development of qualification plans and documentation of qualification.
