Vacuum of supersymmetric electrodynamics

The Fayet--Iliopoulos model in which account is taken of the effect of the quantum fluctuations of the chiral superfields in the vacuum on the ground-state energy is considered. It is shown that the supersymmetry can be fully restored in this model when the coupling constant and the spontaneous-symmetry-breaking parameter are connected by a certain relation.
