A search for lepton flavor violating decay K[sup 0][sub L] [yields] [mu]e

In a search for Lepton Flavor Violation in the decay K[sup 0][sub L] [yields] [mu]e conducted at the Brookhaven National Lab. Alternating Gradient Synchrotron facility, no candidate K[sup 0][sub L] [yields] [mu]e events were found and a 90% confidence level upper limit on the branching ratio B(K[sup 0][sub L] [yields] [mu]e) < 8.6 [times] 10[sup [minus]11] was set.
