The existence of ultraheavy quanta too heavy to produce directly may be probed by means of the rising cross sections they would induce in scattering at the TeV energy scale of photon or gluon pairs to weak boson pairs, for instance {gamma}{gamma}{r arrow}{ital ZZ} or {ital gg}{r arrow}{ital ZZ}.
