Pressure dependence of the superconducting transition temperature in single-crystal NbB sub x ( x near 2) with T sub c =9. 4 K

We have measured the pressure dependence of the superconducting transition temperature (9.4 K) of NbB{sub {ital x}} with {ital x} near 2 by direct comparison with elemental Nb. We find {ital dT}{sub {ital c}}/{ital dP}=0.04 ({plus minus}0.015) K/kbar.
