Excitation of collective modes in superfluid sup 3 He B by magnetic resonance techniques

Using a phenomenological set of equations we argue that the real squashing and other collective modes of superfluid {sup 3}He {ital B} may be excited by a radiofrequency excitation which acts on the {ital J}=1, {ital J}{sub 2}=0 static, field-induced nuclear polarization of the liquid.
