On quantum groups as symmetries

Thesis/Dissertation ·
OSTI ID:7042412
The author examines how and when the quantized universal enveloping algebras (quantum groups) of Drinfeld and Jimbo could serve as symmetries of quantum mechanical system. This is greatly clarified by the biquantization interpretation of the quantum groups.
