Remarks on [ital I]=0 [ital J][sup [ital P][ital C]]=0[sup ++] states: [sigma]/[epsilon] and [ital f][sub 0](975)

With [ital t]-channel [rho] and [ital f][sub 2](1275) exchange and the [ital s]-channel resonance [ital f][sub 0](975), we reproduce the [pi][pi] [ital S]-wave scattering phase shift up to 1.1 GeV quite well. A broad pole [sigma](400) is produced by the [ital t]-channel [rho] exchange. The [ital f][sub 0](975) has a large decay width due to its broad third-sheet pole and a narrow peak width due to its narrow second-sheet pole.
